Drive to Munnar from the airport or railway station in Cochin. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. If time permits, continue on to Munnar for local sightseeing, or spend the day doing your own thing and stay the night there.

Munnar is 1600 meters above sea level and is at the meeting point of three mountain streams: Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale. The British government used to spend their summers in South India at this majestic hill station.

Great for 4-5 hours to explore. Really a lot to see and tons of photo spots. Even have a passport for you to collect all the stamps as a souvenir. Must see for a Harry Potter fan.
