This 4-day tour is built for travellers who want to see the very best of India — without spending weeks on the road.
In just four days, you’ll stand before the Taj Mahal at sunrise, track tigers through the jungles of Ranthambore, walk the ramparts of ancient forts, and lose yourself in the colour and chaos of Jaipur’s bazaars.
It’s India’s golden heritage and wild heart — back to back.
Your journey starts in Delhi, one of the world’s great capital cities.
Here, ancient and modern exist side by side. Crumbling Mughal tombs sit in the shadow of glass office towers. Street food vendors set up stalls outside 800-year-old mosques. Rickshaws weave past government buildings built by the British Empire.
On Day 1, your local guide takes you through the city’s most iconic landmarks — Humayun’s Tomb, the towering Qutub Minar, the grand India Gate, and the sweeping ceremonial boulevard of Rajpath. It’s the perfect introduction to India’s layered, complex, endlessly fascinating history.
By evening, you’re on the road south to Agra.
Nothing prepares you for the Taj Mahal.
You’ve seen the photographs. You think you know what to expect. But standing in front of it at sunrise — watching the white marble shift from pale grey to rose gold as the sun climbs — is something no image can capture.
Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1631 as a monument to his beloved wife, the Taj Mahal took 22 years and 20,000 workers to complete. It is, by almost any measure, the most beautiful building on Earth.
After the Taj, you’ll visit Agra Fort — another UNESCO World Heritage Site — where Shah Jahan spent his final years imprisoned, able to see his masterpiece only from a distance. It’s one of history’s great tragic footnotes, and it makes the Taj hit differently on the way out.
From Agra, the tour takes a dramatic turn.
The monuments give way to jungle. The city noise fades into birdsong and rustling undergrowth. And somewhere in the scrubland and dry forests of Ranthambore National Park, a Royal Bengal Tiger is going about its morning.
Your safari begins at dawn on Day 3 — the best time for wildlife activity. Riding in an open jeep with an experienced naturalist guide, you’ll move quietly through the park’s different zones, scanning the lakeshores, rocky ridges, and forest trails for movement.
Ranthambore has one of the highest tiger densities of any national park in India. Sightings aren’t guaranteed — this is real wilderness, not a zoo — but your guide’s knowledge of the park’s resident tigers and their territories gives you the best possible chance.
Even without a tiger, the park never disappoints. Leopards, sloth bears, sambar deer, mugger crocodiles, and over 300 species of birds make every safari memorable.
The final day belongs to Jaipur — and Jaipur always delivers.
The capital of Rajasthan is a city of extraordinary forts, ornate palaces, and streets so full of life and colour they feel almost theatrical. The old city walls are painted a warm terracotta-pink, giving Jaipur its famous nickname.
Your morning takes you to Amber Fort, dramatically positioned on a hilltop above the city, with its mirrored halls and sweeping views over the Aravalli hills. Then on to the City Palace — still partly home to the royal family of Jaipur — and Jantar Mantar, the 18th-century open-air observatory where giant stone instruments were used to map the stars.
A photo stop at the intricate facade of Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) rounds out the sightseeing. If time allows, the bazaars of the old city are unmissable — gemstones, block-printed fabrics, blue pottery, and miniature paintings line every lane.
By afternoon, you’re on your way back to Delhi — or heading onward to your next adventure.
Four days sounds short. But this itinerary has been refined over hundreds of tours to make every hour count.
The drives are manageable. The sightseeing is paced. The accommodation is comfortable. And your private vehicle and local guides mean no waiting, no group rushing, and no compromise on the experience.
Whether you’re a first-time visitor to India, a returning traveller finally ticking off the Taj Mahal, or simply someone who wants to see a tiger in the wild — this tour was made for you.
